IHi, Im Pam Benoit. After earning a doctoral degree in Communication, I had a long career in higher education. I wrote this book after retiring in 2024 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I officially retired twice but immediately started new full-time jobs. I failed at retirement and was determined to be successful this time! I agonized over the decision about when to retire.
